We use a highly sensitive urine pregnancy test that detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). HCG is a hormone that is normally produced by the placenta and is an excellent marker for confirming pregnancy.

You do not need to bring in a urine sample nor do you need to provide a morning sample. We have a facility for you to provide a sample at our center.

It is recommended that you wait for a "missed period" before taking a pregnancy test so that an adequate amount of HCG is present.
