Counseling
For the most, your first visit to Hope House is to determine whether or not you are pregnant.
During this appointment you will meet one on one with an advocate. She will take a brief medical history then assist you to perform a pregnancy test.
Our tests are laboratory rated urine tests which means you don't have to worry about a blood draw and you will have the results within minutes.
If your pregnancy test is positive your advocate will discuss with you the three different options you have to consider.
If your pregnancy test is negative your advocate will discuss with you the risks of becoming pregnant and STDs.
In either case, she will take all the time needed to answer whatever questions you have and send you home with several brochures that can help you continue your decision making process.
